The fees of psychotherapy are based on GOP. The cost of couples therapy cannot be reimbursed by German health insurance.
In case of a mental disorder & diagnosis, a private health insurance may cover part of the costs of psychotherapeutic treatment (individual setting). Please ask your private health insurance provider for more details

For non-medical service (e.g. relationship counselling, coaching, consulting) currently no VAT will be charged ("Kleinunternehmerregelung" according to § 19.1 UStG).
